A weekly Thursday night ritual featuring pop anthems and party bangers.
Cheap Thrills is back at The Black Lion on Thursday 25 June, and it's not a one-off. It's a weekly Thursday night ritual, which means if you miss this one, there's another the following week. The night is built around a DJ set of pop anthems and party bangers, and the tracklist pulls from the 2000s, the 2010s, and the hits of today. It's the kind of music everyone knows the words to, so it's more about singing along and dancing than standing around listening.

That weekly format is the whole point. It's a regular spot on the calendar rather than a standalone gig, so you can drop in when it suits you. The 25 June date is part of a long run that keeps going through the summer: 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30 July; 6, 13, 20, and 27 August; and 3, 10, 17, and 24 September. That's thirteen Thursdays in a row, so there's plenty of room to find your night.
The Black Lion is at 14 Black Lion Street, BN1 1ND, and the night runs from 22:00 to 02:00. Entry is free, so there's nothing to pay upfront. If you're after a late one on a Thursday, that's your window.
