A club night featuring a mix of Punk, Ska, Soul and Alternative 80s music, with a dance floor and seating area.
Just Lust returns to The Rossi Bar on Saturday 4 July, with DJ Jimmy Lager taking the decks for a club night that pulls from a few different corners of the record bag. It's a mix of punk, ska, soul, and alternative music from the 1980s, and it's not just a one-off โ the same night runs again on 1 August, 5 September, 3 October, 7 November, and 5 December, so if you miss this one, there are plenty more to follow through the rest of the year.

That range of genres tells you something about how the night works. Punk and ska sit on one end, soul on the other, with the alternative 80s stuff bridging the gap. It's a club night rather than a live gig, so the focus is on the dancefloor rather than a stage. The room is set up with a dancefloor for when you want to move and seating for when you'd rather just listen, so you can drift between the two as the night goes on.
It's held in the basement of The Rossi Bar, at 8 Queens Road, BN1 3WA. The basement setting keeps it separate from the main bar upstairs, and it's a friendly, adult crowd that gathers around the music. If you're into any of those sounds โ punk, ska, soul, or the alternative side of the 80s โ it's a straightforward way to spend a Saturday night without having to commit to a full concert.
Entry is free, so you can just turn up and see where the night takes you. It kicks off at 20:00, and you can make an evening of it with a drink in one hand and a dance when the right track comes on. If the 4 July date doesn't suit, keep the other ones in mind: 1 August, 5 September, 3 October, 7 November, and 5 December.
