A private Regency-themed picnic on the Kings Lawn hosted by historical tailor Zack Pinsent. Attendees are encouraged to wear period-appropriate attire.
Zack Pinsent is hosting a Regency picnic on the Kings' Lawn of the Royal Pavilion Garden on Saturday 8 August, from 13:00 to 16:00. Pinsent is a Regency tailor, and he'll be the one leading the afternoon. It's a private picnic on the lawn, so you'll be spending the day out in the open rather than inside a gallery or a hall.

There's a welcome glass of premium English sparkling wine from Roebuck Estates included in the ticket. Beyond that, the picnic is entirely your own doing: you'll need to bring your own food, your own blankets, and your own parasols. It's a bring-your-own-everything sort of afternoon, so come prepared with whatever you'd want for a few hours on the grass.
There is a dress code to keep in mind. The afternoon is for Regency, historical, or vintage dress, so it's a day for bringing out the period gear rather than turning up in your usuals. It's open to anyone with an interest in historical aesthetics and Regency culture, and the dress code is part of the draw.
Tickets are ยฃ25 per person. If the weather turns, the whole thing moves inside to the Adelaide Suite at the Royal Pavilion, so you'll get your afternoon regardless of what the clouds are doing. It runs from 13:00 to 16:00 on Saturday 8 August.
