A night of stand-up comedy headlined by Ed Tripp, with performances from Suzy Bennett, Andrew Watts and James Phillips at The Bar within The Barbican Theatre.
Ed Tripp headlines a comedy night at The Barbican Theatre on Wednesday 1 July, with the whole thing held in The Bar, the theatre's smaller, more intimate space. It's a full bill rather than a single act, so you'll get a few different voices across the evening instead of just one person on stage for the lot.

Suzy Bennett takes the MC duties, and she's a name with some history behind her: she won the Funny Women Awards in 2006. Andrew Watts opens the night, and he's a former London lawyer who's swapped the courtroom for the stage. James Phillips follows with open spots, and then Ed Tripp closes the show as the headliner. Tripp himself is a poet and an award-winning comic, and he's previously held the title of Bard of Exeter.
It's a midweek one, so if you're out in the city on a Wednesday, it's an easy enough add-on. The Bar is inside the Barbican, so you're in the theatre building but in a smaller room. Doors open at 19:00 and the show kicks off at 20:00, so there's an hour to get in, grab a drink, and find a seat before things get going. Tickets are ยฃ10 and you can pick them up via Eventbrite.
