A street market featuring international food, crafts and art in Plymouth City Centre, running from 4 to 12 July.
The Continental Market is coming to Old Town Street in Plymouth city centre from 4 to 12 July, brought to the city by Marketplace Europe. It's a street market with free admission, and it runs for the full nine days, so you've got plenty of time to wander through rather than rushing it in one go. It's one of several things happening across town that week: Saturday Sessions at Old Town Square on 4 July, the Armada Way opening party also on the 4th, and Live at the Amphitheatre on 12 July.

The food is where it really pulls its weight. You'll find Afro-Caribbean street food from Afrro Caribbean Street Food, Syenabu, and Tails + Hello Fresh, and Greek food from Greek Escape. TA KARAHI AND SPICE does corn dogs, fried chicken, tacos, lemonade, bubble milk tea and crepes, while Catermkt Ltd has chicken katsu, Korean BBQ chicken and vegetarian options. Latinfood brings Lebanese food and tacos, and Moroccan Food/Wok Man does lamb, chicken, goat and vegetarian, alongside fish curry and jerk chicken. For something sweet, there's macarons from Elevents LTD, donuts, loaded pizza fries and gingerbread hot chocolate cups from Fowkes Catering, churros and waffles from The Churro Stop, and brownies, tray bakes, coffee and cinnamon rolls from Plant Bakes. Zero Gravity Club rounds it off with chocolate bonbons, tarrinas, cake and hot chocolate.
There's plenty beyond the food, too. For things to take home, AmberSilver925 does amber and silver jewellery, and Arts + Crafts From Old Cutlery makes crafts from old cutlery. Insence and bubbles has incense, bubble items and dream catchers, and Spurr Suprise does crafts and mystery bags. If you're looking for the garden, Charles Taylor Trading has garden seating and pots, and J C Promotions Ltd does pop-up stools, shower heads and garden furniture. There's even a bit for the pets: Pure Pet Food and Untamed Cat Food Limited, the latter with a cat food subscription. Boba & Blossom is also there.
It's a proper street market, with food, craft and art from around the world, and it's open to everyone. Entry is free, and it runs from 4 to 12 July on Old Town Street and New George Street in the city centre.
