A vibrant market with over 40 makers and small businesses, free creative workshops, immersive dome screenings and local food in Market Hall.
Native Makers are bringing their Summer Makers Market to Market Hall in Plymouth on Saturday 25 July, from 10:00 to 16:00. It's a one-day event that brings together more than 40 makers and small businesses, all selling handmade goods from across the South West. The mix runs from students and startups to established creatives, so you'll find everything from early-days experiments to more polished work under one roof.

Beyond the stalls, there's a fair bit to actually do. The market runs free creative workshops and demonstrations, alongside taster workshops and interactive activities, so you can get stuck in rather than just browsing. There's also an immersive dome, 15 metres high, showing projections and interactive experiences throughout the day. If you're coming with kids, it's a good spot to let them wander and try things out.
Food and drink are sorted on-site too. There's Origin coffee, cakes from Cakewhole, and a pop-up food vendor, so you can stay for a few hours without having to leave for a proper break. The organisers describe it as a day out for everyone — families, couples, and curious minds — and it's listed as family-friendly, accessible, and free to enter.
Native Makers is a community of creatives that supports makers across the South West, and this is one of their summer dates. The market is at Market Hall, Duke Street, Plymouth, PL1 4PS, on Saturday 25 July, 10:00 to 16:00, and entry is free.
