A summer outdoor festival dedicated to garage anthems with a massive line-up at The Hobbit Pub, Southampton.
The Hobbit Pub is hosting the Summer Outdoor Garage Festival today, Saturday 27 June, in the open air at 134 Bevois Valley Road. It's a day built around garage anthems, so if that's your thing, you've got a full afternoon and evening of it in one spot.

The organisers are pitching this as a big production with a massive line-up, and they've gone on record saying it's guaranteed to sell out, so if you're thinking of heading down, it's worth sorting your tickets sooner rather than later. While they haven't named the individual acts, the focus is firmly on the garage sound, with the anthems taking centre stage throughout the day.
It's an outdoor event, which changes the feel of a pub gig โ you'll be out in the open rather than tucked inside. The pub is over in Bevois Valley, so it's a bit of a trek from the city centre, but it's a dedicated spot for the day.
Practicalities: it runs from 15:00 to 22:00, so you can roll in early and stay late. Just keep in mind that the last entry is at 19:00, so if you're coming from work or from across town, don't leave it too late or you'll miss out. It's an 18+ event, and tickets go for between ยฃ17.60 and ยฃ22.
