This isn't a small-scale run; the production has played the Adelphi and the Savoy in London's West End, so it's a polished stage show rather than a loose pub jam. The set blends electrifying blues with country standards, keeping the energy up across both halves. If you're familiar with the original movie, you'll recognise the songs that made it, and the country side adds a bit of a different flavour to the mix.
It's a full evening's affair. Doors open at 19:00, and the first act runs from 19:30 to 20:30. There's a 20-minute interval to stretch your legs and grab a drink, and then the second act takes over from 20:50 to 21:50. The timings are approximate and can shift on the night, but you're looking at a good two hours of music in total.
Tickets are £36.25, and there's a reduced price of £23.25 for under-14s, so it works as a family outing as much as a night out with friends. With the doors opening at 19:00 and the music starting half an hour later, you've got plenty of time to get settled before the first act kicks off.
