A free outdoor salsa dance session led by Clare Nicholas as part of the Dancing Terraces series at Pavilion Dance South West.
Clare Nicholas takes over the Pavilion Dance South West on Saturday 29 August for a salsa party, the final session of the Dancing Terraces series. It's a two-hour slot from 19:00 to 21:00, and it's free, so you can just turn up on the night without booking a spot.

The party is part of Dancing Terraces, a programme of outdoor dance sessions held on the Garden Terrace at Pavilion Dance South West throughout August. The series runs from 7 to 29 August, with sessions every Friday and Saturday, and Nicholas's salsa night is the one that closes it out. It's a summer thing, held out on the terrace by the beach, and it's open to everyone โ families and people who already dance, as well as anyone who's never tried it before. You don't need any previous experience to join in, and there's no need to book in advance.
If you've been following the series through the month, this is the last one. The whole thing has been about getting people dancing outdoors in the open air, and the salsa session is the final chapter. It's a straightforward setup: a dance floor on the terrace, the music going for two hours, and a mix of people coming along for the evening. Since it's free and doesn't require a booking, it's as easy as just showing up.
So, if you're around on the Saturday, it's Clare Nicholas leading a salsa party at Pavilion Dance South West in Bournemouth, from 19:00 to 21:00. It's free, no booking needed, and open to all ages and levels.
