A social craft session where participants bring their own projects to work on while chatting, drinking tea and eating homemade cake.
Stitch & Splodge are hosting their Daytime July Chatter Natter Craft Group on Tuesday 7 July at 32 Devonport Road in Stoke, Plymouth. It's a two-hour session that runs from 10:00 to 12:00, and the whole thing is built around a very simple, low-pressure idea: you bring along whatever project you're currently working on and spend the morning chipping away at it in the company of others.

There's no set task or specific craft you have to be doing, so it works whether you're halfway through a knitting project, working your way through a crochet pattern, or tackling something else entirely. The 'chatter natter' part of the name tells you exactly what the morning is for — chatting while you work, with tea and homemade cake on the table to keep things going. It's as much about the company as it is about the crafting.
Stitch & Splodge describe it as a fun way to spend a couple of hours with some company or a bit of motivation to get a project moving, and they add that 'lots of laughing' is guaranteed. It's a social, relaxed setup, so it suits anyone who enjoys a bit of craft and a good chat without any particular goal other than spending a morning with other people who feel the same.
Entry is £7, and there's a refund policy in place up until seven days before the event. It runs from 10:00 to 12:00 on Tuesday 7 July at 32 Devonport Road, Stoke, PL3.
