A day of horse racing with seven races, including the Group 3 Criterion Stakes, and live music from Becky Hill.
York Racecourse is combining a day of horse racing with live music on Saturday 27 June, with Becky Hill taking the stage after the racing finishes. It's a full day out at the Knavesmire, and the music is just one part of it.

The racing starts at 13:20 with seven races on the card, all sponsored by Al Basti Equiworld Dubai. The main event is the Group 3 Criterion Stakes, which is the highlight of the afternoon. Once the final race has run, the focus shifts from the track to the stage, where Becky Hill performs live. She's a singer-songwriter known for her dance-pop hits, so the day moves from the sport of the afternoon into a proper gig as evening sets in.
Because it's a racecourse, there's a bit of a choice in how you watch. Access to the track is free, so you can spend the day there without paying for a ticket. If you want a seat, the grandstands and the clock tower area are the parts that cost, so you'll need to book those separately. It's the kind of day that works for a few different crowds: racing fans, families, and anyone who just wants to see Becky Hill live.
So, you've got seven races starting at 13:20, the Criterion Stakes as the main feature, and Becky Hill performing after the last race. Free entry to the track, paid seating in the stands and the clock tower.
