A record market with over 70 sellers and approximately 200,000 vinyl records across two floors of the Knavesmire Stand, featuring rock, soul, punk, indie, jazz and more.
York Record Fair returns to the Knavesmire Stand at York Racecourse on Sunday 1 November, taking over two floors of the exhibition space. It's been running since 2022 and has settled into a biennial rhythm, so if you missed the last one, this is your next chance to get stuck in.

There'll be more than 70 sellers and over 200 tables, which works out to roughly 200,000 vinyls to dig through. The range covers a lot of ground: rock ‘n’ roll, soul, punk, prog, indie, reggae, metal, electronic, jazz and classical. It's not just vinyl, either. You'll find collectible CDs, 78s, music books, posters and other ephemera. The stock runs from rare first pressings to recent releases and bargains, so it works whether you're hunting for a specific grail or just browsing for something that catches your ear.
It's listed as family-friendly and aimed at music fans of all ages, from seasoned collectors to people who just enjoy a good dig. If you're not sure what you're after, that's half the point of a fair like this—spending a few hours flipping through crates and coming away with something you didn't know you wanted.
Entry is £3, payable on the door, and free for under-16s. It runs from 10:00 to 17:00, and there's free parking on-site. The venue is about a 30-minute walk from York station, with buses and taxis available if you'd rather not trek it. If you have questions, you can reach the organisers on 07896713988 or at info@pitch22.co.uk.
