A night of amazement and laughter featuring two shows: a West End-style mentalism performance and a comedy hypnosis show, with volunteers required to be over 18.
Daniel Sinclair brings his show The Hypnotist & Mind Reader Live to Hanger Farm Arts Centre on Saturday 27 June, and it's a bit of a double bill: he's fitting two distinct acts into one night. The first half, The Mind Reader, is a West End-standard mentalism show with mind games in the vein of Derren Brown and predictions that play out live on stage. The second half, Comedy Hypnosis, shifts gears into something more lighthearted, with volunteers from the crowd seeing their imaginations unlocked and their realities altered.

Sinclair is one of the UK's top stage hypnotists and mind-readers, and the two halves of the night show the different sides of what he does. The first part is about the mentalism — the reading and the predicting — while the second is the comedy hypnosis, where the audience gets involved and things take a more playful turn. Between the two, you get both the focused, head-scratching side of the craft and the louder, more interactive side.
He's picked up a fair bit of praise along the way, too. Phoenix Arts called him 'the next Derren Brown', and comedian Jimmy Carr put it simply: 'Blew me away!'
The show is at Hanger Farm Arts Centre on Aikman Lane (SO40 8FT), starting at 19:30. It's recommended for ages 13 and up, at the discretion of parents or guardians, with most of the night being family-friendly. If you're thinking of volunteering to be hypnotised, though, you'll need to be 18 or over. Tickets are £17 for a full price seat and £14 for concessions.
