For those who know them, the Scottish pop rock band formed in Glasgow back in 1985. The line-up is the same one that's been together for decades: Ricky Ross on vocals, Lorraine McIntosh on vocals, James Prime on keyboards, and Dougie Vipond on drums. They put out their debut album, Raintown, in 1987, and since then they've sold more than seven million albums, put twelve singles in the British Top 40, and seen two of their records hit number one.
They've kept the new material coming, too. City of Love came out in 2020, Riding on the Tide of Love followed in 2021, and their latest, The Great Western Road, arrived in 2025. Along with the newer songs, the set will draw from the ones that made them known — Dignity, Real Gone Kid, and Fergus Sings the Blues are the ones most people recognise.
It's a paid event, with tickets starting at £61. The show is at O2 Guildhall Southampton, Guildhall Square, Above Bar Street, SO14 7DU, starting at 18:00 on Saturday 27 June.
