A gig night showcase and fundraiser featuring local youth bands and teenage artists, supporting emerging musical talent in the area.
Gig Night Showcase and Fundraiser is on at St Alban's Church on Saturday 27 June, a night built around local youth bands and teenage artists. It's a showcase, so the bill is made up of young musicians from around the city getting a proper slot to play their own material. It's also a fundraiser, with the money going back into the local scene.

St Alban's is at 357 Burgess Road, SO16 3BD, and the night runs from 19:00 through to 01:18, so it's a long one. The whole thing is aimed at a young crowd, families, and anyone in the local community who wants to turn up and support emerging talent from the area. If you've got younger siblings or kids playing in bands, it's a good one to bring them along to.
Entry starts from £3, so it's a cheap night out. With the music running late into the early hours, you've got plenty of time to catch a few different acts without having to rush. If you're around Southampton on the 27th, it's an easy way to see what the city's younger musicians are up to.
