A live band tribute concert with stage visuals bringing together classic Halloween hits for the whole family.
Halloween in Concert comes to the York Barbican on Tuesday 27 October, a live band tribute that pulls together classic Halloween hits for the whole family. It's a full band on stage rather than a DJ set, and they're pairing the music with visuals to carry the night.

The setlist is a broad run of songs that most of us know by heart, from the novelty side of things like Monster Mash and The Time Warp to the bigger rock and pop hits. You'll hear Highway to Hell, Running Up That Hill, Hungry Like the Wolf, Maneater, Bat Out of Hell, It's a Kind of Magic, She Wolf and, of course, Thriller. It's a mix of eras and styles, so there's something in there for different generations to recognise.
They describe it as "a frighteningly good night of graveyard smash hits for all the family", and that family angle is a big part of the evening. It's aimed at all ages, so it's as much for taking the kids along as it is for going with friends. They're also encouraging people to turn up "dressed to impress", so if you've got a costume you've been waiting for an excuse to wear, this is a good spot for it.
The concert runs from 18:30 to 23:00 at the York Barbican on Paragon Street, YO10 4NT. It's a ticketed event, with entries sold through axs.com.
