Kate Rusby returns for her 21st annual Christmas concert with carols, originals and festive favourites.
Kate Rusby is back at the York Barbican on Thursday 10 December for Kate Rusby at Christmas, her 21st annual Christmas concert. It's a long-running tradition of hers, and this year's show follows the same festive format she's built around over the last two decades.

The set is built from three things: carols, her own originals, and festive favourites. The carols are the core of it, and the originals bring in her own songwriting, while the favourites are the well-known songs that usually make up a Christmas concert. It's a mix of the traditional and the personal, with the carols and the classics sitting alongside the songs she's written herself.
It's a night for anyone who likes acoustic music and the Christmas season. If you've been to her previous Christmas concerts, you'll know the general shape of it: the carols, the originals, and the festive favourites. This is the 21st time she's done it, so it's a well-worn part of her year.
Tickets are on sale now, with premium tickets listed at £123. The concert is on Thursday 10 December at the York Barbican.
