The session is built for children under five, and they're meant to come along with a parent or carer. The hour is packed with a few different things: storytelling, songs, sensory activities, and arts and crafts. It's a creative morning rather than a sit-and-listen one, so the little ones get to move about and get stuck in rather than just watching from the side.
The theme this time is Portsmouth 100, which ties into the city's centenary celebrations running throughout 2026. It's a local anniversary, so the storytelling and the activities will be built around that. If you've got a toddler or a preschooler, it's a good way to get them into the museum for a bit of a morning out.
It runs from 10.15 to 11.15 on the morning of 20 November. Places cost £3 per child, or they're free if you have a leisure card. You'll need to book your spot in advance by calling 023 9283 4779.
