Nirvanah

Nirvanah play The Lens Studio on Friday 10 July, a tribute to Nirvana that takes the 90s grunge sound back to where it started. It's a three-piece from the UK, and they've built their act around recreating the sound and image of the original band, with a set that pulls from all their albums rather than sticking to the biggest hits. They've played plenty of sold-out shows and have been a regular on the festival circuit year after year, so they're well-used to playing for a crowd.

The show starts at 20:00, and it's held in The Lens Studio, which is part of the Portsmouth Guildhall site. If you're bringing anyone younger, keep in mind that under-14s have to be accompanied by an adult over 18. There are a couple of house rules to be aware of before you head in: no cameras or tablets are allowed during the show, and you can't bring your own food or drink into the venue, unless it's for medical reasons.
