The programme splits its time between the two. From Williams, you'll hear Star Wars, Jurassic Park, Harry Potter, E.T., and Schindler's List. Zimmer's side of the set brings Gladiator, Interstellar, The Da Vinci Code, The Last Samurai, and Batman Begins. It's a fair bit of ground to cover in one evening, and the BSO will be playing the scores in full rather than as a medley.
It's an all-ages night, so it works as a family outing as much as a proper outing for anyone who knows these soundtracks by heart. The only rule is that under-14s need to be accompanied by an adult. And because it's an open-air show, you're welcome to bring along your own food for a picnic.
Tickets are £26, and there are VIP packages available on top: Gold at £25 per person and Silver at £18. Doors open at 18:00, with the music starting at 19:30.
