A cinematic event exploring the question of whether we are alone in the universe, with screenings across several days at Showcase Southampton.
Disclosure Day opens at Showcase Southampton on Saturday 27 June, and it's a cinematic event that asks one big question: are we alone in the universe? The whole thing is built around a single line: 'If you found out we weren't alone, if someone showed you, proved it to you, would that frighten you?' It's a projection at the Showcase Cinema de Lux in the Westquay Shopping Centre, so it's a cinema trip rather than a stage show, and the theme sits right in that sci-fi, mystery territory.

It's not a one-off, either. The run goes from Saturday 27 June through to Thursday 2 July, with screenings nearly every day. The times shift around, so you'll want to check which one fits your schedule. On the opening day, 27 June, there are three: 10:40, 16:00, and 19:10. Sunday 28 June has 12:50, 16:00, and 19:10. Monday 29 June is 12:30, 15:50, and 20:20, and Tuesday 30 June follows with 12:30, 15:50, and 19:10. Wednesday 1 July is the busiest day with four screenings: 10:00, 13:20, 16:40, and 20:00, and the run closes on Thursday 2 July with 13:30, 16:45, and 20:00.
Because it's a commercial cinema, it's a ticketed event, and you'll get your seats through the usual Showcase channels. If you're into space, extraterrestrial life, or just a good mystery on the big screen, this is the one to keep on your radar. With screenings running from mid-morning through to late evening across the week, there's plenty of room to slot it in.
