Stand-up comedy show by Gary Delaney with a brand new show at the Grand Opera House, featuring adult humour and strong language.
Gary Delaney brings his new stand-up show, Gary On Laughing, to the Grand Opera House on Thursday 16 July. It's a fresh set, so you'll be hearing material he's been working on rather than a run of old favourites.

Delaney is well-known for his long-haul approach to touring. His last UK run stretched over two and a half years and took him through 378 dates, and his clips have racked up hundreds of millions of views online. The critics have been on board too: The Scotsman called him "quite brilliant", and The Times described him as "a master craftsman".
He's not holding back on this one, either. He describes the show as "all new jokes and utterly splendid filth", and the venue's guidance makes it clear who it's for: it's recommended for ages 16 and over because of strong language and sexual references. The official advice is plain: "Don't bring the kids". If you're into stand-up that doesn't pull its punches, that's your cue.
It starts at 19:30, and tickets are available through ATG Tickets. If you're planning to go, it's worth booking a bit in advance rather than leaving it to the last minute.
