Live show by Kerrang'd recreating classic rock, metal, emo and alternative hits across an era of rebellion and nostalgia.
Kerrang'd play The Lens Studio at Portsmouth Guildhall on Friday 14 August, starting at 20:00. It's a live show that pulls together rock, metal, emo and alternative hits from across a few different eras, so the setlist covers a fair bit of ground rather than sticking to one sound.

The band formed in 2021, five experienced musicians who set out to recreate the nostalgia of the scene. They describe their repertoire as something that's always growing, and they break it down into a few distinct camps: pop-punk bangers, heavy singalong classics, alternative emo anthems and nu-metal moshpit monsters. If you've spent any time in those worlds, you'll recognise the ground they're covering.
They've played plenty of sold-out shows across the UK, from the south of England up to Scotland, and have shared a stage as support for Benji Webbe of Skindred. The whole thing is built around the songs rather than the band itself, so the focus is on the tracks you already know.
Tickets are £16.85, which includes a 13% booking fee and a facility charge. It's an all-ages show, though anyone under 14 needs to be accompanied by an adult over 18. If you've got a The Lens Studio Student Pass, this one is included. A couple of house rules to keep in mind: no cameras or tablets are allowed inside, and you can't bring in your own food or drink unless it's for medical reasons. There's discounted parking available online or at the box office if you're driving in.
